“The Grovers”, residents of the The Grove, Burnham on Sea, organised a fantastic New Years Eve Party at the Avenue Tennis Club.  With a fabulous DJ, a Cocktail Bar, Canapes and some Glamour and Glitz the Grovers partied through out the night from 2011 into early 2012.  With over 100 party goers including children the evening was hailed as a fantastic success and one that will definitely be organised for next year.  The group of residents are also keen to encourage more similar events during 2012 and are well into planning another fantastic street party for the Queens Jubilee.

The Avenue Tennis Club have also set some dates for 2012 and would like to invite you down to their fantastic clubhouse for the following social evenings which are always good fun and excellent value for money; St Patricks Night – 17^th March, Italian Night – 12^th May, Tennis B-B-Q – 8^th September and the Captain’s Night – 20^th October.  The club is also available for hire; see website for details. 

As well as social events the club has Adult social play on Wed and Fri evenings or Tue, Thur and Sund Morning.  Coaching is available for juniors every night of the week and for adults on Thu,Fri and Saturday afternoons or if you would like to private 1 to 1 coaching this can be organised throught the clubs professional coaches.
