Avenue Academy
The Avenue Academy is set up to encourage and provide youngsters with the opportunity to improve their tennis through hard work and intensive coaching.
The minimum aims of the Academy is to encourage players to reach at least county standard and to play for their school and club teams.
In order to reach this standard we require youngsters aged 11+ that can show a commitment and desire to work and play hard whilst having some fun on the tennis court.
Entry to the Academy will be assessed on playing ability in the first instance with Performance Coach, Jamie Allen together with Head Coach, Vinny Duddy – if you feel you would like to participate please contact the office (01278 782758) for further information.
Sessions are run on
Mondays – 18:00 – 19:30
Tuesdays – 17:00 – 18:30
Wednesdays – 18:00 – 19:30
Fridays – 17:00 – 18:30
PLEASE NOTE MONDAY SESSIONS WILL MOVE BACK TO A 6:00 PM START FROM SEPTEMBER 6TH 2010.

Avenue Academy December 2009 Tournament Players
During the term of June to July the Academy players have been playing timed tennis tournaments (singles) against each other and the results matrix is detailed below. This is aimed at improving their LTA ratings and encouraging them to become more comfortable when playing tournament tennis.
