Emily Rossiter
Personal Profile:
I have always been interested in all sports in and out of education. I started playing tennis when I was 5 and have been playing ever since. As well as tennis through my school years I participated in most sports teams and always loved P.E which is why I have gone on to be a teacher within it.
At the age of 11 I was representing Somerset in the county cup and at the age of 12 I was number one in the county. I carried on playing and training for Somerset until the age of 15 where I then decided to stop to concentrate on school. I finished my GCSE’s and went on to sixth form where I studied PE, Biology, Psychology and photography and after A-levels I took a year out of education to do an apprenticeship and an NVQ 3 in Sports coaching and development at the tennis club. After I completed my apprenticeship I went on to Bridgwater College to do a HND in sports exercise and Science and currently I am in the last month of hopefully completing my Degree!
At the moment I am currently coaching tennis at the club as well as working as a sports coach for a local coaching company which involves teaching all sports within primary and middle schools in and around Somerset.
