The Avenue Tennis Club Junior Party was held on Friday 19th Dec 2008 and was a great success. Children of all ages from the club attended and played a variety of fun party games for which they won Xmas prizes. The main prize was a Prince Tennis Racket Bag, donated by Tony Pryce Sports of Taunton, which was won by 6 year old Jack Crook, together with a variety of other Prince Tennis goodies donated by Prince Representative, Peter Naine during the Avenue Open Day in the summer.

Head Coach, Vinny Duddy would like to thank trainee coach, Craig Phillips for his management of the music during the party games, Barry Ramsden for his enthusiastic management and participation in all of the all the games. 

One of the games (Desert Island Discs – players had to ensure that their toes were on the mats and did not touch the floor) saw our two young aspiring tennis ace sisters (Nicole and Sammie Priestman) not wanting to fall off the island and getting up close at Xmas.
