The Avenue Tennis Club was the venue for Neville Jones’ Ninetieth Big Birthday Bash.  The party goers were treated to some excellent catering London chefs Jason and Philip with entertainment from a One Man Orchestra and a Celtic Harpist.

The next Adult Social Doubles Tournament at the Tennis Club will be held on Sunday 29^th Jan from 11:00 anyone wishing to attend should turn up on the day.

Head Coach Vinny Duddy said that following requests he had resumed the Cardio Tennis sessions on a Wednesday evening from 7:30 till 8:30.  Cardio Tennis is a fun, hard working, hitting and footwork fitness session a tennis court, you don’t need to be a tennis player or a member to take part in these sessions – contact Vinny for more details – 01278 782758.

The club will also be running a Junior Tennis Camp from 13^th – 17^th Feb during the school holidays from 9:00 till 4:00, where children will be taught how to play tennis by qualified LTA coaches – forms are available from the club or the website – www.avenuetennis.com.
