Somerset Closed
The 2010 Somerset Closed County Champion was the Avenue’s own Craig Phillips who beat County Mens Captain Matt Bernard in a very good final match on the Avenue’s 4th July Open Day.
The tournament was sponsored by Tony Pryce Sports who are situated throughout the South West and specialise in most sports equipment.
Unfortunately due to lack of entries there was no Ladies champion this year.
The Somerset Closed Sponsored by Tony Pryce Sports will be run over the weekends 5th and 6th Jun and the 26th and 27th Jun with the Finals scheduled for the 4th July which coincidentally is the Avenue’s Open Day and Wimbledon Men’s Final Day.
