Sunday 17^th October 09 saw the Avenue Tennis Club host the Ron Hines Memorial Tournament.  The turnout for the day was fantastic with 22 players playing 4 matches of 8 games with the lady partners swapping after 4 games.   The ladies winner was Jenny Edden with the highest games score of 21 and the Men’s winner Colin Stead with 27 games, both are pictured above being presented with the Ron Hines Trophy from Peter Alexander.

Places are still available on the Junior Tennis Camp which will run throughout the school holiday week 26^th – 30^th October; if you wish to book a place then please contact the office or visit the website (www.avenuetennis.com) for details and to download the application form.

The next Sunday social tournament at the Avenue will be run on 22^nd November, Ron Hines on Sunday 18^th October; all are welcome to attend with matches starting around 11:00am.
