Hi All – Just a few more Aug reminders; most important is the Avenue’s Main LTA Grade 3 Adult and Junior Tournaments – see point 8 and 9 below

1. The Junior and Adult Tennis Ladder is now up and running – see Vinny or Craig for a “RUNG” – we will put your name on the front and contact details on the back – see website for details of rules – www.avenuetennis.com/tournaments/tennis-ladder.  The actual ladders are situated next to the disabled shower room.  If you let us have the results we will forward them to the LTA monthly so that your ratings can be updated. Note to all – please do not mess with the ladder placings – anyone caught doing so will be removed from the ladder.

1. A Mini Red Tournament will take place on Sunday 28^th Aug from 11:00 am – please contact Vinny re entry; next ones are on 18^th Sep, 30^th Oct and 27^th Nov.

1. A Mini Orange Tournament will take place on Sunday 28^th Aug from 13:00 hrs – please contact Vinny re entry; next ones are on 18^th Sep, 30^th Oct and 27^th Nov

1. A Green Ball Ratings Match Play will be held at the club on Sunday 28^th Aug from around 1:30 pm  – please contact Barry Ramsden re entry; next one is on 25^th Sep

1. A Yellow Ball Ratings Match Play will be held at the club on Saturday 27^th Aug from around 1:30 pm  – please contact Barry Ramsden re entry; next one is on 24^th Sep.

1. Summer School Holiday Junior Tennis Camp – 3^rd week   - there are still places available on third week Junior Tennis Camp (22^nd to  26^th Aug) – please see office for forms or download off the website – weekly cost for 1 child in the family is £60, 2 kids in the family is £90 and three kids in the family is £100.

1. 7.       Charity Tennis Competition – 6^th Aug – The Tennis Veterans Society have hired the Astra Courts and Club House on Saturday 6^th Aug to run a Tennis Tournament aimed a raising money for their charity – entry should have been made via their website http://www.tennisvets.net/. 

1. Competition – Avenue Adult Open – 10^th – 14^th Aug – LTA Grade 3 Adult competition open to all tennis players – entry by date 3^rd Aug.  Bar open – Hot and Cold food and some really excellent tennis.

1. Competition – Avenue Junior Open – 15^th – 21^st Aug – LTA Grade 3 Junior Competition open to all junior tennis players (new Mini Red Sunday 21^st Aug and Mini Orange tournament, Saturday 20^th Aug added) – enter by 5^th Aug.  Bar Open – Hot and Cold food and some even better tennis than the week before.
