Hi All – Just a note on what is going on in the upcoming months

1. Junior Tennis Coaching resumes from Monday 5^th September – all timings and sessions remain the same as last term with the only change being that the Junior Yellow Ball Academy will resume on Monday nights from 6:00pm till 7:30pm – enrolment forms available on this link http://www.avenuetennis.com/coaching

1. The Junior and Adult Tennis Ladder is now up and running – see Vinny or Craig for a “RUNG” – we will put your name on the front and contact details on the back – see website for details of rules – www.avenuetennis.com/tournaments/tennis-ladder.  The actual ladders are situated next to the disabled shower room.  If you let us have the results we will forward them to the LTA monthly so that your ratings can be updated. Note to all – please do not mess with the ladder placings – anyone caught doing so will be removed from the ladder.

1. A Mini Red Tournament will take place on Sunday 18^th Sep from 11:00 am – please contact Vinny re entry; next ones are on 30^th Oct and 27^th Nov.

1. A Mini Orange Tournament will take place on Sunday 18^th Sep from 14:00 hrs – please contact Vinny re entry; next ones are on 30^th Oct and 27^th Nov

1. A Green Ball Ratings Match Play will be held at the club on 25^th Sep from around 1:30 pm  – please contact Vinny Ramsden re entry; next ones are on 30th Oct and 27^th Nov from around 3:00pm.

1. A Yellow Ball Ratings Match Play will be held at the club on 24^th Sep from 1:30pm; please contact Barry re entry.

1. Somerset Over 45s v West of Scotland 4^th Sep @ 10:30am  - Somerset Over 45’s will take on West of Scotland here at the club from around 10:30 on Sunday morning 4^th September; all are welcome to come along a support the team which include Vinny Duddy and Glen Pigden from the club.

1. 8.       Committee Meeting 8^th September – 7:00pm – the next Committee Meeting is on Thursday 8^th September; if you have anything you wish brought up please let one of your Committee Members know.  We are always looking for other people to get involved on the Committee and would like to hear from you if you are interested in giving your support – we are currently short a Chairman which is being filled by President Poo Jenkins along with lots of other social committee commitments.

1. 9.       Junior Tennis Camp – 24^th – 28^th October  - the next junior tennis camp will take place during the October school holiday and will run from Monday 24^th till Friday 28^th from 9:00 am till 4:00pm; enrolment forms available via the website.

1. 10.   Ron Hines Memorial Tournament – 23^rd October – the next social mixed doubles tournament will be held from 11:00 pm on Sunday 23^rd October
